Milan to Monaco - 22 days to go!
Milan to Monaco: 22 days to go!
I cannot believe that it is only 22 days until I leave for Italy and the 2017 Quintessentially Foundation Bike Ride in partnership with Rapha Travel. So far so good! Training is going well and apart from a few bumps, bruises, aches and pains is on schedule. Getting knocked off my bike by a bus on Kensington High Street was a bit of a blow but all seems OK now.I have enjoyed getting to know my fellow cyclists at the training rides, run by Rapha in Central London and Surrey. There is a wonderful team spirit and I have met some incredible people during these sessions and look forward to their camaraderie.Onwards and upwards…
Ride Overview
The Bike Ride is a four day event giving even experienced cyclists a real challenge. We begin cycling in Milan on Thursday 29th June until Sunday 2nd July. Four days riding, averaging 140km a day. The event will travel through Italy and Monaco; taking in the most remarkable scenery and challenging riding through Piedmont and Liguria. Fundraising so far
Fundraising is under way and I am extremely grateful to those who have lent their support so far but we have a VERY long way to go before hitting my personal target of £5000 and the Quintessentially Foundation team target of half a million pounds for two incredible charities – The Miles Frost Fund in partnership with the British Heart Foundation and Resources for Autism. These are great causes which I am proud to be cycling for and I would be delighted and grateful if you could help me help them achieve their goal.Thank you[contact link="http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=AdamShulberg" target="_blank" text="Make a Donation"]
