Milan to Monaco.....done!

Yes, I know it’s been while since my last update on the Milan to Monaco 2017 Quintessentially Foundation Bike Ride. It was full speed ahead at Cubex as soon as I returned, seeing patients and working on some new exciting projects that we will share with you very soon.

It was incredibly successful and with all your help I raised nearly £7,000 and between us, collectively, just shy of £500,000. All funds will be donated to Resources for Autism & The Miles Frost Fund, in partnership with the British Heart Foundation. The cycling was amazing; beautiful rolling countryside (no pun!), staggeringly steep and long ascents rewarded by quick, technical adrenaline pumping descents, not to mention the most breath taking scenery.

Back a few weeks, I am still experiencing a little discomfort from a knee injury but this is currently rehabilitating. However, this did not affect my focus or determination throughout and my clinical mindfulness approach and training got me through with a good level of comfort and a lot of pleasure. The mental discipline that we all have available is an often untapped resource and it was truly amazing to experience and connect with this.

Will I do this again? Definitely! I would recommend this for the physical, emotional and rewarding journey.
